Weekly Get-to-Know-Paris Challenge #28!

August 31, 2012

This week’s get-to-know-Paris challenge is to learn a bit (more) of French history. How? Any way you like. Pick up a book on some aspect of French history. For example, I just purchased Ina Caro’s Paris to the Past: Traveling through French History by Train and am looking forward to reading it!

Another more high-tech historical adventure on my agenda: I’ve downloaded Sarah Towle of Time Traveler Tours’ app called Beware Mme la Guillotine, A Revolutionary Tour of Paris. I will be guided by the legendary Charlotte Corday through her Paris. I can’t wait! I’ll be sure to let you know how this adventure goes.
