I have made a big decision: starting this fall/winter, I will start managing my Marais apartment myself.
There were a number of factors that went into this decision. But above all, I miss having the personal contact with those renting my home. As many of you know, I also own a home on the coast of Maine. I love “e-“meeting the visitors who will be staying in my home and helping them plan their trips. I love the personal contact; some of my renters I would even consider personal friends now, even though we may not have ever met in person. I even helped one guest plan her wedding to take place in Maine next week — congratulations, Joy! I don’t have that with those who rent my home in the Marais and I miss it.
