La Semaine du Golfe

June 07, 2017

La Semaine du Golfe (Gulf Week) is a festival held every two years in the Gulf of Morbihan, in southern Brittany. This festival celebrates the seafaring history and culture of the region.

Numerous towns and ports encompassing the Gulf participate, which makes for a week full of daytime and evening events and a lot of good fun.

You can learn more about this year’s festival, that took place May 22-28, here. And be sure to mark your calendars for May 2019!

I’ve included a few photos here, but be sure to view all my photos, including of the Grande Parade of 1400+ boats!
