Brittany Vacation Rental!

April 11, 2018

It’s that time of year again to start thinking about summer rentals! My house in Baden, in the Morbihan (southern Brittany), is available for most of the summer (and in fact, year-round if you’re looking to get out of town another time!) Please email me at parisweekender@gmail.com for more details!

It’s a four-bedroom house in the very center of an adorable town (Baden – 56870), just a mile or so from the water, from the Gulf of Morbihan.

You can see all my posts on this beautiful region here. And for anyone interested, I can provide plenty more information on the surrounding area as well!

It’s nice to have a car to explore the region, but there’s a butcher, bakery, coffee bar/tabac, hair/nail salons, wine shop, library, mini museum and the world’s BEST crêperie all within a 100 meters or so and a supermarket and pharmacy 300m away.

Baden is a fantastic base for exploring the region, or for just staying close to home and taking advantage of the hiking and cycling trails. Read more about my project to hike the whole coast of Brittany!

The nearest TGV stations are only 10 minutes (Auray) and 15 minutes (Vannes) away, so it’s an ideal weekend house for Paris residents. But you’re welcome to spend as much time there as you like!

I’m really just looking to cover costs–i.e. this would be a very affordable vacation rental.

Bedrooms (sleeps 8 total):

  • queen bed
  • queen bed
  • double bed
  • two twin beds

There’s also a pack-n-play crib. The bedroom pictured below with the crib now has a U.S. queen-sized bed in it. The other rooms are as pictured.

There is one full bathroom but also two half baths.

A small terrace has a table for outdoor dining and a new gas grill for cooking in.

There’s a TV with all the cable channels and high speed wifi, as well as a landline (with free calls to the U.S.) so the house makes for a great base from which to work remotely.

Please help me spread the word! Happy to chat about alternative arrangements as well (possibility of renting longer term and/or just one or two of the bedrooms). If you’re interested or have questions, please email me at parisweekender@gmail.com.
